After winning his 8th Australian Open and 17th Grand Slam tournament earlier today, World no. 1 Novak Djokovic has paid a heartfelt tribute to Kobe and Gianna Bryant in his winning speech.
“One person I consider close in my life and was a mentor to me, was Kobe Bryant (…) This a reminder to stick together more than ever and stay close to the people that love you”, Djokovic said.
