Nobel Boungou-Colo is back in Paris. The French forward previously played for the club between 2019 and 2021, when Paris was still competing in Élite 2.
A French champion with Limoges CSP, Boungou-Colo was one of Paris’ marquee signings in the summer of 2019. He averaged 16 points per game in his first season and 12 in his second, becoming one of the team’s key players.
Experience for the preseason and start of the season
Now 38, Boungou-Colo will join the team for preseason and the beginning of the regular season, bringing valuable experience to the squad.
Depending on how the season develops, he could also be called upon to reinforce the club’s Élite 2 team, potentially making this his final challenge as a professional player.
A new role after his playing career
Boungou-Colo’s return to Paris will also mark the beginning of his transition into life after basketball.
Once his playing career comes to an end, he will take on his first role within a club’s management structure, combining the position with an associated training program to prepare for his future career off the court.
Welcome back, Nobel.
