Nizhny Novgorod announces that seven players tested positive for COVID 19

The Champions League game against Falco Szombathely will be postponed to another date

Before the first Champions League game against Hungarian Falco Szombathely, seven Nizhny Novgorod players tested positive for coronavirus. At the moment they are all isolated and under the supervision of doctors. 

By order of the Rospotrebnadzor administration for the Nizhny Novgorod region, the entire core team has been quarantined for two weeks since October 21.

By the decision of the Champions League, the game against Falco Szombathely, scheduled for October 21, will not take place and will be postponed to another date. Now “Nizhny Novgorod” is negotiating with the VTB United League to postpone the next scheduled matches.
