Nikola Vucevic on Magic return: “A place that means a lot to me”

Nikola Vucevic is returning to the Orlando Magic after nearly five seasons away. The veteran center said the move carries special meaning because of the relationships and memories he built during his first stint with the franchise.

“Feels great. Very excited to be back,” Vucevic told Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson. “Obviously, a place that means a lot to me—a place where I built a lot of great relationships. And, you know, very excited to be back on this team that has a chance to win.”

Vucevic spent nine seasons in Orlando from 2012 to 2021, appearing in 591 games and earning two All-Star selections. After stints with the Bulls and Celtics, he has returned to the Magic on a one-year, $3.9 million minimum deal.
