Nikola Vucevic: “I would have played for Crvena Zvezda, Real Madrid and Olympiacos”

Nikola Vucevic gave an interview to Sport Klub and, among the various topics discussed, he was also asked which EuroLeague teams he would have wanted to play for had he not been selected in the NBA Draft.

Vucevic said: “My EuroLeague career if I had not been an NBA player? I definitely would have played for Crvena Zvezda. I’m a fan of theirs, everyone knows that. Another club that has always fascinated me is Real Madrid, but also Olympiacos. Real Madrid is the royal club, and I also like football… I’m not a fan of theirs, but I have a lot of respect for that club because of its history, culture and tradition.

“I also really like Olympiacos. In recent years, they have had a really good and competitive team. They have won trophies and truly built a team, not just a collection of players. I like the way they play, they also have great fans, and they have a great relationship with the Crvena Zvezda supporters.”
