Nikola Mirotic led Olimpia Milano to victory against Alba Berlin at the Forum, scoring 21 points with a PIR of 28. Speaking to EuroLeague TV, he praised the team’s performance: “It was amazing performance by our team. I think both sides, defense, offense, maybe not that much on the first half because they score over 40 points, but second half, we stepped up. Some guys played amazing defense. Stefano Tonut was terrific. I think he made a difference tonight with his energy, with his physicality. So this is the team job. We need everybody, everybody”.
On his relationship with Zach LeDay, Mirotic elaborated: “It’s probably the best thing it happens to me honestly because we accomplish so much each other each day, not just on the playing, even on the. On the practice. So it’s been. It’s been amazing. And I’m very happy that we are actually teammates..”
With this strong team dynamic, Milano continues to grow and solidify its position in the EuroLeague.
