Nikola Mirotic: “I hope to be the missing piece for Monaco to win the EuroLeague”.

Monaco kicked off the 2025-2026 EuroLeague season with a press conference in which Nikola Mirotic, the club’s major summer signing, raised the bar for the team’s ambitions.

Mirotic said: “At 34, I want to win. I hope to be the element the team was missing to aim for the title. In this team, we have two EuroLeague MVPs, but we are missing the most important thing: the EuroLeague trophy. That’s why I’m here. I worked for it, and sometimes it takes time; keep believing in it.

You have to be in the right place at the right time; Monaco can be that place. Being in the Final Four is already a huge achievement, which is very difficult to accomplish every year.”
