Nigel Hayes-Davis calls out criticism after Panathinaikos playoff collapse

Nigel Hayes-Davis reacted on social media to the criticism he received after Panathinaikos was eliminated from the EuroLeague playoffs by Valencia.

The American forward called out fans who crossed the line with their messages, urging people to control their words: “Adults losing they minds over a children’s game. Do better minding y’all tongues on these apps”.

Panathinaikos had led the series 2-0, but lost three straight games and missed the Final Four, which will be played in its own arena.

Hayes-Davis averaged 13 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 10.3 PIR in 30 minutes over the quarterfinals. A painful exit followed by a strong message against “fair weather fans”.
