The reigning Euroleague champions lose one of the most experienced players
According to Turkish reporter Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Fenerbahce will be without Nicolò Melli for approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
The veteran Italian forward is set to undergo surgery after suffering a foot fracture during the Turkish Cup quarterfinal.
Before leaving the game with the injury, Melli had scored seven points.
The American guard, born in 2000, joins the Serbian club after playing for the Iowa Wolves in the NBA G League. His college career included stints at Kentucky and Illinois State.
