According to Gazzetta.gr, Olympiacos are considering Nick Calathes to strengthen their backcourt following Keenan Evans’ latest injury. The Greek veteran is no longer a key part of Vassilis Spanoulis’ plans at Monaco, and the French club would welcome parting ways with his contract.
Such a move would be shocking, given Calathes’ seven years at Panathinaikos, the eternal rival of the Piraeus side. Another option remains former NBA guard Monte Morris, but at this stage, Calathes seems the more realistic target.
