The New York Knicks are putting all contract extension talks on hold until later in the season. A team spokesperson confirmed the decision, explaining that the organization wants to focus entirely on preparing for the upcoming NBA campaign.
“As an organization, our entire focus is on preparing for the upcoming season and delivering another year for our fans to be proud of. As a result, we will not be negotiating contract extensions until later in the season and will remain solely focused on preparing for the start of the season,” the spokesperson said.
The move means that any pending extension discussions will have to wait, with the Knicks prioritizing their on-court preparation ahead of the new campaign.
