The New York Knicks have hired Mike Brown as head coach after parting ways with Tom Thibodeau

The New York Knicks have officially named Mike Brown as their new head coach after a thorough search. A two-time NBA Coach of the Year, Brown brings Finals experience and four championships as an assistant.

Brown led the Kings to the playoffs in 2023, ending a 16-year drought, and also won Coach of the Year with the Cavaliers. He has coached stars like LeBron James, Curry, Duncan, and Kobe Bryant.

President Leon Rose praised Brown’s leadership to guide the Knicks back to championship contention, aiming to end a title drought that has lasted since 1973.
