After posting his best game of the season — 14 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists — in the New York Knicks’ 128-113 win over the Chicago Bulls, Josh Hart admitted he still doesn’t have full feeling in his right (shooting) hand.
“My nerve hasn’t fully come back yet,” Hart said. “There’s still a bit of tingling and numbness, but hopefully it gets better soon.” The issue, stemming from an injury first sustained during last year’s playoffs, contributed to a slow start to his season, with only 11 points in his first four games.
Hart, who has ruled out surgery, is determined to play through the problem while adjusting to his new sixth-man role under coach Mike Brown. “He’s playing great and with energy,” Brown said. “If he were fully healthy, he’d be unstoppable.”
