Following the crucial Game 6 win by the New York Knicks over the Boston Celtics — which secured their first trip to the conference finals in 25 years — here are some statements from the key players, as reported on ESPN.
Josh Hart began by saying: “We watched the film, and we were kind of disgusted with our communication, our effort and our sense of urgency. That was something we knew we had to fix.”
Then came coach Thibodeau, who was asked if this was his team’s best playoff performance:
“Probably. I thought from start to finish that we were terrific.”
Finally, Mikal Bridges added:
“I just think there’s still more to go. We’re not done. We played hard and handled business, but the season’s not over yet.”
