According to reports from SNY’s Ian Begley, New York Knicks executives believe they have enough assets to get a ‘major player’, even after the acquisition of OG Anunoby.

The team currently has eight tradable first-round picks, including four picks of their own. In addition, the Knicks have several players eligible for trades, including Evan Fournier with his expiring $18 million contract (Josh Hart and Miles McBride cannot be traded before the 2024 deadline).

Shams Charania added that the Knicks have always shown interest in Karl-Anthony Towns although a deal is unlikely considering the Wolves’ success this year.
