Nets trade away DeAndre Jordan to Pistons, who plan to buyout his 2-year, $20M contract

Brooklyn receives Okafor and Doumbouya, will send four future 2nd round picks

The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to trade DeAndre Jordan, four future second round picks and $5.78 million to the Detroit Pistons for Jahlil Okafor and Sekou Doumbouya, reports ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski

Nets will save approximately $47 million in salary and luxury tax payments with the deal and are sending send Pistons their own 2022 and 2027 second-round picks, a 2024 second-rounder via Wizards and a 2025 second via Warriors

Detroit plans to work on a buyout with Jordan on the $20 million remaining over the final two seasons of his deal
