Nets reportedly pessimistic about hiring Tyronn Lue

Former Cavs coach is reportedly seeking $7 million per season.

Members within the Brooklyn Nets’ organization are pessimistic over potentially hiring Ty Lue as their next coach, sources told Ian Begley of SNY. While the source doesn’t mention any specific reason for the organization’s pessimism, it records that former Cavs coach is seeking $7 million per season.

Nets are still rumoured to have interest in Gregg Popovich, and interim coach Jacque Vaughn will also be a candidate to get the role on a permanent basis.
