Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is closing in on a return to game action from his injured, sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic. Former NBA MVP could return at some point next week, according to Charania.
Durant would also have already returned to action if this were the playoffs, but the Brooklyn Nets have been extra cautious.
