The Serbian veteran explained his departure and future stance on the Kole Point podcast

Nemanja Nedovic will not return to Crvena Zvezda. The Serbian veteran guard, who spent last season on loan and was still formally under contract with the Belgrade club, made it clear on the Kole Point podcast that a comeback to Red Star is not an option.

Nedovic said the situation had already changed last summer after he signed a two-year deal with the club. “Something changed in June, within a month. Everything would have been fine if they had just told me: we are thinking in another direction, thank you for everything. Instead, they were telling me one story and doing another,” he said.

The player was firm about his future: “It is not an option this year for me to return to Red Star. If someone shows you even a tiny bit of disrespect once, they will do it a second time. As far as my playing career is concerned, a return to Red Star is a finished story.” Nedovic also commented on Luca Vildoza’s move to Partizan, downplaying the controversy: “He is a foreign player, he plays basketball, he never stayed anywhere for long. Fans may have been hurt, but I don’t see it as a tragedy.”
