Brice Dessert has officially been ruled eligible to compete for LSU during the 2026-27 college basketball season

Brice Dessert has officially been ruled eligible to play for LSU during the 2026-27 season. The 7-foot big man will therefore be available to Will Wade and adds another major piece to the Tigers’ frontcourt.

According to Jon Rothstein of 247Sports, Dessert is expected to be one of the top big men in college basketball this season.

LSU will now be able to rely on a frontline featuring Dessert, Michael Ruzic and Kentucky transfer Mouhamed Dioubate. The Tigers return to action Saturday against Florida State in an exhibition game.
