NBA scores best opening week since 2011 with a +95% in viewership over last season

NBA Ratings have scored really good numbers to open the season.

Viewership on ABC, TNT, and ESPN during the opening week of the NBA season increased 95% from 2019, totaling 81.5 million hours, reports ESPN. This figure also represents the highest viewership for opening week since 2011.

The Christmas Day games on ESPN also were up 10% on average as compared to last year. On social media platforms, the NBA saw a 36% increase in video views and a 279% increase in minutes watched as compared to last season.
