The NBA rescinded Luka Doncic’s technical foul against Miami, reducing his season total from two to one
The NBA has rescinded the technical foul assessed to Luka Doncic in the second quarter of the Lakers’ 138-117 win over the Miami Heat.
The ruling reduces Doncic’s season total from two technical fouls to one. Both had initially come over his past three games after he avoided any technicals in his first four.
The distinction matters: a player is automatically suspended for one game after reaching 16 technical fouls in the regular season. Doncic has hit that mark in four of his eight NBA seasons.
