The Post has heard that the NBA is looking into the Nets’ choice to play with a thin roster against the Bucks on Wednesday.

The league is assessing if this constitutes a violation that can result in fines.

In a load-management move that angered a lot of their supporters and seemed to irritate their best player, Mikal Bridges, the Nets chose to bench four players against visiting Milwaukee. To make matters worse, they added three more players early in the 144-122 loss.

Cam Johnson, Dorian Finney-Smith, Nic Claxton, and Spencer Dinwiddie all sat out the whole game. After the first quarter, the Nets increased their pressure and benched Bridges, Cam Thomas, and Royce O’Neale.

After playing five games in seven days, including the Bucks match, Brooklyn went on a four-game, six-night road trip.
