The 2022 NBA Draft is fast approaching, in 3 days the Lottery will determine the order of the first 14 picks.
There aren’t many options better than Jalen Duren in the Draft Class for teams that will decide to select a center.
At just 18 years old, the center out of Memphis is among the youngest athletes who will shake Adam Silver’s hand on draft night.
Duren put together averages of 12.3 points (60% FG, 62% FT), 8.1 rebounds and 2.2 steals in 25 minutes per game in his freshman year with the Tigers.
Duren has top-notch physical and athletic potential, he managed to emerge despite a less than ideal setting (Memphis had little playmaking and few real shooters), anchoring the defense with his innate ability to protect the rim.
He is currently No. 7 on ESPN’s Top 100.
