NBA announces key dates for 2020-21 season

All Star break to be placed between March 5th and 10th.

The NBA has announced some “key dates” for the upcoming 2020-21 season, which will tip-off on December 22nd.

From that date, until March 4th, the league will have the “first half” of regular season, with the schedule for that part yet to be released. All Star break (but in an unknown location, as original host Indianapolis has been postponed to 2024) will be from March 5th to March 10th, with the second half of regular season to take place from March 11th to May 16th. Playoff play-in tournament are scheduled between May 17th to 21st, with the Playoffs running from May 22nd to July 22nd, the latest possible date for a NBA Finals Game 7.

Further dates, such as the Trade deadline, are still to be released by the league.
