According to Shams Charania (ESPN), the upcoming NBA All-Star Game 2026 will feature a brand-new format: three eight-player squads, two made up of American stars and one with international players.

The event will be played in a round-robin format, with each matchup lasting 12 minutes. Scheduled for February 15, 2026, the game will take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, the new home of the Clippers, and will be broadcast on NBC in an afternoon slot.

This change follows mixed reviews from last year’s four-team, target-score format.
