After announcing his decision to leave the University of Washington, Nahziah Carter is now finalizing a deal to join Melbourne United as part of the NBL’s Next Stars program, according to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc.
Carter, who happens to be Jay-Z’s nephew, left Washington after being suspended from the school in October. Last year, he averaged 12.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game as a junior.
