The era of Nikola Mirotic at Barcelona is nearing its end. As reported by TV3 and Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan club has already informed the player of its intention to terminate the contract at the end of the season, following the conclusion of the Liga Endesa title final against Real Madrid. The Montenegrin basketball player would thus be released from the remaining two years of his contract, thus being able to choose the team with which to continue his career.
Last night, Emiliano Carchia of Sportando announced an agreement had been reached between the player and the red-and-white club. However, denials regarding this agreement have come from the Milan-based club.
