Moussa Cissé’s $2.2 million salary for the 2026-27 season is now fully guaranteed. The Mavericks head to Macao with the maximum 15 standard contracts, while Dwight Powell is still hoping to earn a roster spot.

According to Marc Stein, the October 1 deadline passed with Cissé’s deal becoming fully guaranteed. Dallas will travel to Macao this weekend for two preseason games against Houston with all 15 standard roster spots currently occupied.

That leaves Dwight Powell still trying to secure a place on the team.
