Moses Wright has responded to transfer rumors linking him with FC Barcelona, but made it clear that his full attention is on the present. After Zalgiris Kaunas defeated Barcelona, the American center said he is not letting the speculation distract him.
“I don’t pay attention to any of that stuff. I’m just locked in with Zalgiris,” Wright said. He also added: “We’ve got three more regular-season games left. And no matter what rumors are going around, I’ll be with Zalgiris until we win the LKL”.
Wright backed up his words with a strong performance, posting 18 points and 11 rebounds in the win. According to the report, Barcelona is still considered one of the most likely destinations for the 27-year-old, who is set to become a free agent this summer.
