Moses Wright joins Olimpia Milano on two-year deal

Moses Wright is a new Olimpia Milano player. According to RealOlimpiaMilano, the American center has signed a two-year deal with the Italian club.

It closes one of the most surprising EuroLeague market stories of the summer. Wright had long had an agreement with Barcelona, but the uncertainty surrounding the Catalan club’s project opened the door for Milano, who completed the deal in the final hours.

Wright comes off a dominant season with Zalgiris, averaging 13.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 0.9 blocks and 17.1 PIR in EuroLeague. After Josh Nebo’s exit toward Barcelona, Olimpia have found their new inside reference: a vertical, physical center who can protect the rim.
