Monty Williams has reached an agreement for a multi-year extension with the Phoenix Suns.
The news was reported by Adrian Wojnarowski.
Williams, on the Suns bench for the past 3 seasons, had 2 years left on his contract.
The reigning NBA coach of the year last season led Phoenix to a record-breaking regular season with an impressive 64 wins and an 18-game undefeated streak.
In 2021, his second year in Arizona, Monty Williams and the team came close to an NBA title, defeated only by Milwaukee in the Finals.
