Monta Ellis has been named the new general manager of Alcorn State’s men’s basketball program. Jeff Borzello reported the news.
Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Ellis was selected in the second round of the 2005 NBA Draft. He spent 12 seasons in the NBA, playing for the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks and Indiana Pacers.
