Chima Moneke is not moving: the big man will stay with Baskonia next season, despite the interest of some top EuroLeague teams. The news comes from Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews, who reports that the player will stay with Baskonia until the end of his contract (2025). One of the obstacles to his transfer was the 1.5 million buyout clause in his current contract.
Next summer, Moneke will be one of the most sought-after free agents in Europe (and not only, as NBA franchises were also after him).
