AS Monaco are expected to lose Matthew Strazel and Kevarrius Hayes, while Nikola Mirotic could also become a major departure this summer.

According to BasketNews, Matthew Strazel is finalizing a move to Anadolu Efes, while Kevarrius Hayes is set to join Partizan Belgrade. Monaco are expected to receive around €1.5 million in total buyout fees from the two transfers.

The moves come at a key moment for Monaco, as the club deals with financial challenges and prepares for a possible temporary transition to EuroCup. The long-term goal remains a return to EuroLeague as a permanent franchise.

Nikola Mirotic is also drawing significant interest across Europe and could be next to leave. The veteran forward, still under contract, averaged 11.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists this season.

Monaco’s future should become clearer at the EuroLeague Board meeting on June 26. If the club’s step away from EuroLeague is confirmed, Monaco would compete in EuroCup under a 3+2 license structure.
