AS Monaco replied on Twitter to Virtus Bologna managing director Luca Baraldi’s statements about a Final Eight format to end the current EuroCup season, when and if it resumes.
“As of today, 12th March 2020, neither the EuroLeague Basketball nor any of the 7DAYS EuroCup quarterfinal participants have approached AS Monaco with a proposal regarding the changing of the present 7DAYS EuroCup tournament format. The new challenges that the Basketball & Sporting world face today are beyond everyone’s experience. Now is the time for all Clubs and Entities to work together for the greater good of the sports we love to find logical solutions to combat and resolve these most difficult times.”
