Manuchar Markoishvili will take over as AS Monaco head coach for Thursday’s game vs Olympiacos Piraeus, per BeBasket and confirmed by BasketNews.
The matchup comes right after Vassilis Spanoulis officially left the team on Wednesday.

Markoishvili has been a Monaco assistant for five years and has already led the team once in EuroLeague play.
In November 2024, he coached a 103-92 home win over ASVEL.

Daniel Theis is back in the lineup after missing the last two domestic games for personal reasons.
Monaco is 9th at 16-14 with 10 players available, and its remaining slate includes Efes, Olimpia Milano and Panathinaikos.
