The agent responded to criticism of his client’s performances, explaining that Moneke kept playing despite a serious right-hand injury

Misko Raznatovic has defended Chima Moneke after criticism of the player’s recent performances.

The agent explained that Moneke suffered a serious right-hand injury, diagnosed as season-ending, but still decided to continue playing at his own responsibility.

Raznatovic wrote: “He continued to play for the team, although his performances were significantly affected by the injury to his shooting hand.”

He then added: “Such a decision deserves respect to the 6th best ranked EuroLeague player, and not criticism.”
