Minnesota Timberwolves trade Josh Green to Jazz

The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to trade Josh Green and cash to the Utah Jazz for Cody Williams and John Konchar, according to Shams Charania.

Minnesota is expected to keep Williams, the No. 10 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, while Konchar is expected to be waived and stretched over multiple seasons.

Green’s $14.7 million contract gives the Timberwolves the salary flexibility needed to complete the signing of Jonathan Kuminga using the taxpayer mid-level exception. The former Warriors forward is expected to sign a two-year, $12.4 million deal.
