The Minnesota Timberwolves wrapped up preseason with key roster decisions ahead of the opener in Portland. The team waived Bernard, Newton, Pullin and Johnson, setting the roster at 17 players. Meanwhile, Johnny Juzang earned a two-way deal after a strong preseason showing.
Juzang, 24, averaged 8.9 points and 2.9 rebounds with the Utah Jazz last season. The sharpshooter impressed coach Chris Finch and is now part of the Wolves’ long-term plans.
President Tim Connelly also exercised rookie options on Rob Dillingham and Terrence Shannon Jr, securing both through 2027 — a clear sign of trust in Minnesota’s emerging backcourt.
