The Minnesota Timberwolves have acquired Ayo Dosunmu from The Chicago Bulls, adding a guard to strengthen their perimeter rotation alongside Anthony Edwards.
Dosunmu is a pending restricted free agent, and the move is framed as a direct answer to Minnesota’s ongoing backcourt upgrade efforts. A 2021 second-round pick, he helped fuel Chicago’s early 2021-22 surge before injuries changed the Bulls’ trajectory.
In 45 games this season, Dosunmu is averaging 15.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists while shooting 45.1% from three.
