Doc Rivers returns to broadcasting as NBC Sports analyst during NBA Games

Doc Rivers is returning to broadcasting. After retiring from coaching last April following his tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks, the Hall of Fame coach will work as a game analyst for NBC Sports. “I loved playing the game, I loved coaching it, and I’ve always loved talking about it,” Rivers said. “I’m excited to be back and share my perspective alongside such a talented team.”

Rivers was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in August and finished his coaching career with 1,194 NBA victories, sixth-most in league history. His biggest achievement came in 2008, when he led the Boston Celtics to the NBA championship. Rivers also coached the Los Angeles Clippers during the Lob City era.
