The 7-foot-1 forward will compete for a roster spot after a productive season with the Wisconsin Herd

The Milwaukee Bucks have officially signed John Butler to a training camp contract. The 23-year-old returns for another NBA opportunity following his latest season in the G League.

Butler averaged 9.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks across 49 games with the Wisconsin Herd while shooting 47.5% from the field and 36.3% from three.

The 7-foot-1 forward previously appeared in 19 NBA games with Portland during the 2022-23 season. He will now attempt to earn a place on Milwaukee’s roster during camp.
