Damian Lillard suffered a left lower leg injury during Game 4 against the Pacers, with initial fears pointing to a possible Achilles tendon issue.
Doc Rivers admitted postgame, “It’s not very promising.” An MRI on Monday will determine the full extent of the injury.
After returning from deep vein thrombosis, Lillard had struggled in the series, and now Milwaukee, down 3-1, faces a tough situation without him.
“This is a tough one, honestly. Blood clot, followed by [Achilles]. … He’s just a great freakin’ dude, as a teammate and a father. No one deserves it.” ❤️
