Panathinaikos and the Adelaide 36ers faced off in a friendly match valid for the final of the Pavlos Giannakopoulos Tournament. The Greek side came out on top, claiming a 106-89 victory.
Standout performers included Kendrick Nunn, who scored 26 points, and new center Richaun Holmes, who recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in his debut with the Greens.
After the game, Adelaide 36ers coach Mike Wells praised Ergin Ataman’s team with these words: “Panathinaikos is probably the best team in the world outside the NBA.”
