Three players in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague earned MVP honors in Round 4, as Mike James of AS Monaco and Sasha Vezenkov of Olympiacos Piraeus joined Nicolo Melli of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in achieving a PIR of 29. Melli was the player to catch after he finished with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 1 block and 4 fouls drawn in Milan’s 81-83 victory against FC Bayern Munich on Thursday night. One day later, James responded with 27 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 12 fouls drawn during Monaco’s 80-83 triumph over Panathinaikos Athens at OAKA Altion. Then, in Friday’s 20:30 CET game, Vezenkov helped maintain Olympiacos’s unbeaten run with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal and 3 fouls drawn in the Reds’ 92-97 win on the road against Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz.
