Mike James on the schedule: “I get to hoop for a living. I wish it was more damn games”

Mike James: “Y’all gotta stop letting these people bitch and complain”

Mike James took to social media to respond to the ongoing criticism surrounding the European basketball schedule, particularly the number of games and the amount of travel.

The Anadolu Efes guard wrote:

“Season too long. Omg it’s too many games so much travel……. Yall gotta stop letting these people bitch and complain all year and summer.”

“It’s 38 games over eight damn months”

James then pointed out the number of EuroLeague games:

“It’s 38 games in the season over 8 damn months. I get to hoop for a living. I wish it was more damn games.”

James’ comments add another perspective to the ongoing debate surrounding the European basketball calendar, which remains a major topic because of the number of games and extensive travel.
