AS Monaco point guard Mike James yesterday led the team to a victory over Baskonia with 26 points and 7 assists.
“We’re just trying to build some continuity, some kind of consistency. Just happy we could protect home and get a win today,” said James, who has scored in double figures in 20 straight games.
After the game James spent important words about his teammate John Brown III.
“I just wanna say. John Brown III is the best defensive player in the league. My opinion.”
The forward ended the game with 4 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
Brown III broke the single-season record for total steals in the 2021-22, his first year in the competition.
