Mike James apologizes to Okobo: “I should have handled it differently”

During the evening of Thursday, March 5, Monaco suffered a loss on the court of Fenerbahce, but also faced an unpleasant situation: Mike James and Elie Okobo were involved in an argument, with the former Olimpia Milano player pushing his teammate.

Earlier today, Mike James issued an apology. Through a tweet, the player apologized to his teammate and his family. Below are his statements.

So this is my public apology for how i handled the end of the game yesterday. To my brother Elie and the Okobo family i apologize. It’s embarrassing for us all and i definitely should have handled it differently and let my emotions get the best of me.
