Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone talks with USA Today talks about the current situation of his team, more than 40 days after the suspension of activities due to COVID-19:
“All of our players are wondering what is going to happen. Are we going to have a season?” Nuggets coach Mike Malone said Tuesday on another Zoom conference call with reporters. “If we do have a season, what’s that season going to look like? There are no answers”
“Whenever we are allowed to get back in, I’ve heard roughly 25-30 days will be a ramp-up,” Malone said. “I keep on hearing at least a month of ramp-up time to get these guys back.
Before the suspension the Nuggets were third in the Western Conference, with 43 win over 65 games.
